RELSurplus was founded in September 2010.   I've been an automotive technician for 15 years and needed a change in my career path.  As Confucius says -  "Choose a job you love, and you will never work a day in your life".  I decided to take my interest in military gear and camping equipment and bring it to the marketplace for the regular consumer.  I enjoy what I do and want to make sure that my customers enjoy these products as much as I do. 

We started our family owned business on eBay. As a life-long collector of military items, I had grown bothered by the lack of consistency of the condtion of merchandise being sold.  From the beginning, making sure the customer gets the product they are expecting has been our biggest priority.  We focus on describing our products as accurately as possible.  We offer quality, genuine US Military Surplus products including USMC, US Navy, US Army and US Air Force.
